It celebrated its 10th birthday this year, with a wonderful variety of guests including a scout group from Normandy, grandparents on their 4th visit with grandchildren walking the North Downs Way and cyclists from Bournemouth on their way to Littlehampton.
Set in a 200-year old barn, this simple, seasonal hostel on Sustrans cycle route 22 is 2 miles from Wanborough railway station and 5 miles from Stoke Park.
The communal sleeping platforms come with privacy partitions to divide the space into 3 separate areas. The bathrooms and shower facilities are shared. Linens are not provided, but sleeping bags are available for hire. Amenities include a guest kitchen, a secure bike shed and a picnic area.
